Carol Trowbridge

Carol Trowbridge is an independent scholar. Her book, Andrew Taylor Still, 1828-1917, is considered by historians as a major contribution to American medical history. The book has been translated into French, German, and Spanish.

Mrs. Trowbridge is a past board member of the Still National Osteopathic Museum, now the Museum of Osteopathic Medicine. She received a BA degree in History and Education from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Mrs. Trowbridge was an award-winning teacher at the Kirksville High School for the realisation of the local history publication, 'The Chariton Collector'.


Her articles have been published in 'Osteopathic Annals, a Journal of Primary Care'.

She was a speaker at the John Wernham Memorial Lecture in Madrid in 2013 and 2014, and guest lecturer at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2014.

She is presently writing another book about osteopathic history.
